QVD: an Opensource VDI platform
Description of the VDI product QVD, the features of the product what are the advantages of the product, a little demo and the integrator and reseller programs.
The presentation is oriented in three parts:
Description of VDI and QVD, the advantages for the business. Specific features of QVD:
- KVM and LXC virtualization
- OS and disk image management. Usage of BTRFS.
- NX over HTTPS as the transport protocol.
- Cost reduction with in terms of CPU and storage.
- Integration with LTS, Thin clients (or Raspberry PI).
- Bandwidth usage and latency requirements.
